The Operator reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel any trip should weather or any other circumstance necessitate this. Once the walk has departed from your the start point no portion of the package payment is refundable in the event of an individual or group being unable to proceed further on the track, for whatever reason.
We cannot and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information, including prices, product images, specifications, availability, and services. We reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.
Escape-Adventurous Journeys reserves the right to revise its prices at any time prior to accepting an order.
The prices quoted may be revised by the operator subsequent to accepting an order in the event of any occurrence affecting delivery caused by government action, higher foreign exchange costs and any other matter beyond the control of the operator.
All amounts are given in New Zealand Dollars. Escape Adventurous Journeys Ltd accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard or Xero Invoice.
Payment: If paying by credit card, the name that will appear on the cardholder’s statement will be Escape Adventurous Journeys. All prices on this website are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Only payments made by credit card can be accepted on the website.
All activities including those in which you (“I” and “you” “the customer”) have booked to engage (“the activities”) do carry a degree of risk and by participating in the activities provided by the Operator you are expressly assuming those risks personally and to the maximum extent permitted by law you release the Operator and its officers and employees from any liability, claims, losses, damages (whatsoever and irrespective of whether direct, indirect or consequential) caused by any event including but not limited to:
The staff and management of Escape-Adventurous Jorneys take all practicable steps to identify and minimise potential dangers.The Operator makes all arrangements for Escape-Adventurous Journeys,on the condition that it shall not be liable for any:
sickness, injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned, either directly or indirectly, by reason of any defect in any vehicle, vessel or aircraft, by weather, by any other cause, or through acts of default of a company or person engaged in conveying the passengers, or in carrying out arrangements for these activities.
Although we have full public liability insurance, we recommend that you arrange adequate personal insurance cover for activities and camps
In participating in the activity, the customer agrees to be bound by the following conditions:
It is your responsibility when booking to ensure that you and members of your group are fit enough to cope with the activity and the environment associated with your booking.
Clients must inform us prior to the event of any medical condition/ illness / disability (including medication which may affect their performance) so we can discuss your needs and make appropriate arrangements.
All clients should inform their instructor immediately if they feel unwell during the activity. Clients must adhere to the instructions, guidance and decisions of our instructors as they have specialist knowledge & skills and are committed to keeping you safe.
Alcohol or illicit drug use is not permitted prior or during activities. Clients must show respect to equipment / vehicles / buildings / other clients / staff – Abuse or causing distress to others or loss/damage due to negligence will result in repair / full replacement costs. This may also lead to exclusion from activities / accommodation / courses without refund.
Child prices for guided walks apply to those 16 years and under (at time of activity). We do not allow children under 8 years of age on our guided walks, except by prior arrangement with management. If you are over 70 years, please consult your doctor to check your physical fitness, prior to making your booking.
We are happy to accommodate guests with specialty diets, we appreciate as much advance notice as possible. If we don’t receive adequate advanced notice, we may not be able to fully cater for dietary needs as we operate in an extremely isolated environment and it is not always possible to access specialty foods. Please ensure you advise us as early as possible if you have dietary requirements
This website and all component parts, including these Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of New Zealand and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand
