This trip is designed for adventurous souls seeking the ultimate outdoor experience while working towards their prestigious Gold Award. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and the excitement of exploration during this four-day adventure, filled with navigation challenges and outdoor skills development.

NOTE: We are Rotorua based and run all of our trips from here so if you are from out of Rotorua you will need to meet us on the first day at the meeting location and we will supply the transport from here. 

Day 1:

Kick off your Gold Qualifying Camp with a gear check to ensure everyone is well-prepared, with a special emphasis on essential safety items. Dive into hands-on navigation exercises and learn the art of estimating timeframes. Engage in route planning sessions to make collective decisions, setting the foundation for the following days.

Day 2:

Set out for a new day of excitement and challenges. Pack up and tidy your campsite before engaging in more navigation exercises and an invigorating hike. Explore breathtaking landscapes and put your navigation skills to the test. Enjoy a group assessment to reinforce your learnings.

Day 3:

Continue your adventure, conquering the third day of the Gold Qualifying Camp. Engage in further navigation exercises during the tramp, embracing the beauty of nature and conquering the challenges that come your way. Bond with your fellow adventurers and create lasting memories.

Day 4:

The final day of your Gold Qualifying Camp awaits! Experience the sense of accomplishment as you navigate your way through the wilderness one last time. Celebrate your achievements with your newfound friends before heading back home, carrying unforgettable memories with you.
